<b>S&P 500</b> stock market index might be near an all-time high, but below the surface, some of the most popular technology stocks have collapsed. Many have declined by more than 50% from their highs, far surpassing the typical bear market threshold of 20%.</p><p>The sell-off is caused by uncertainty about the new omicron coronavirus variant and the prospect of interest rate increases occurring faster than investors were predicting in 2022. Both of these concerns have dampened the market's appetite for risk, meaning investors are less willing to pay sky-high prices for technology stocks in particular.</p><p>But that might be an opportunity for patient investors with a long-term time horizon. Here are three companies helping to build the future, with beaten-down stock prices that make them worth buying now.</p><p class=\"t-img-caption\"><img src=\"https://static.tigerbbs.com/6f8b7df3b4000526f81956a64154a5a9\" tg-width=\"700\" tg-height=\"463\" width=\"100%\" height=\"auto\"/><span>Image source: Getty Images.</span></p><h2>1. Block: Down 40%</h2><p><b>Block</b> (NYSE:SQ) is the business and consumer payments giant formerly known as Square. It rebranded to reflect its increasing diversification away from merchant services and into other innovative segments, including blockchain technology.</p><p>But despite this new direction, Block hasn't abandoned its most profitable segments, which are centered around payment services. For businesses, Block provides hardware that allows merchants to process credit card purchases in-store, in addition to loans and other services. And on the consumer side, Block's CashApp serves as an alternative to bank accounts for its 40 million monthly users, with instant peer-to-peer money transfers, and even a stock and cryptocurrency investing platform.</p><p>Excluding <b>Bitcoin</b>, Block's various segments have delivered a gross profit margin of 55% so far in 2021. That's compared to just 2% for the Bitcoin segment, which is mostly derived from CashApp users transacting in the cryptocurrency.</p><p>Block's stock has been crushed recently amid the tech sell-off, but there's plenty for investors to be excited about. The company is acquiring buy now, pay later giant <b>Afterpay</b>, which will allow consumers to finance small purchases through CashApp, providing a potentially enormous boost for Block's merchants within the ecosystem.</p><p>Analysts expect Block to generate $17.6 billion in revenue by the close of 2021, placing the stock at a price-to-sales multiple around 4.4. It's a significant discount to just two months ago, and since the company is now consistently profitable, it certainly warrants consideration for long-term investors -- especially given how aggressively Block is growing its umbrella of businesses.</p><p class=\"t-img-caption\"><img src=\"https://static.tigerbbs.com/7292cadd6cd32ea55e1d537555082c94\" tg-width=\"700\" tg-height=\"466\" width=\"100%\" height=\"auto\"/><span>Image source: Getty Images.</span></p><h2>2. Affirm Holdings: Down 37%</h2><p><b>Affirm Holdings </b>(NASDAQ:AFRM) is the world's largest stand-alone buy now, pay later company even despite the recent sell-off. It trailed Afterpay for the last few years, and when that company was acquired by Block, it looked as though Affirm was being left in the dust. However, in a spectacular counterpunch, Affirm recently secured a deal with <b>Amazon</b>, the world's largest e-commerce company.</p><p>Affirm will be featured in the checkout of Amazon's online platform. When customers are making a purchase, they'll have the option to finance it rather than paying with their own money. When the deal was announced in August it ignited a rally in Affirm's stock from $70 to $176, eclipsing Afterpay's $29 billion deal with Block in the process.</p><p>Unsurprisingly, Amazon offers Affirm enormous growth in users and gross merchandise value (GMV). Combined with Affirm's existing deal with <b>Shopify</b>, it now has a $600 billion-per-year opportunity in front of it. That's a 7,000% increase on the GMV it processed in fiscal 2021, which ended on June 30.</p><p>Affirm is also expanding beyond standard integrations with merchants' online stores, into physical cards for consumers to use buy now, pay later's short-term financing anywhere they like.</p><p>The steep correction in Affirm's stock presents a strong long-term opportunity for investors, given its innovative approach to consumer finance, and the potential offered by its deals with Amazon and Shopify.</p><p class=\"t-img-caption\"><img src=\"https://static.tigerbbs.com/6718cd8ef143a94a5336e30dcb88d6fd\" tg-width=\"700\" tg-height=\"465\" width=\"100%\" height=\"auto\"/><span>Image source: Getty Images.</span></p><h2>3. Upstart Holdings: Down 60%</h2><p>The third and final stock that's down big and worth buying now is <b>Upstart Holdings</b> (NASDAQ:UPST). It's <a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/AONE.U\">one</a> of the best performers of 2021, with a 280% year-to-date return, even after accounting for the recent 60% collapse in its stock. At one point in October, Upstart had gained over 800% for the year with a price of $401, before tumbling to the $155 it trades at today.</p><p>The company has leveraged artificial intelligence to transform the way banks assess potential loans. Upstart's goal is to use its technology to unseat the decades-old FICO credit scoring system, by analyzing over 1,000 different data points to gain a more comprehensive perspective of potential borrowers. So far it's working exceptionally well, with Upstart-originated loans resulting in 75% fewer defaults for the same approval rate.</p><p>The company began in unsecured lending before entering its largest market yet, secured vehicle loans. It has built an impressive network of car dealerships and it has done so quickly through its acquisition of Prodigy, a car sales software platform now known as Upstart Auto Retail. In the recent third quarter, it had 291 dealers using the new sales and loan origination service, up 219% from the same period last year.</p><p>Since Upstart is a loan originator, it doesn't lend any money itself and therefore carries almost no credit risk. It earns a fee when its banking partners write a loan using its algorithm, and also sells its software to institutions that want to integrate it into their application processes.</p><p>At the beginning of 2021, Upstart estimated it would generate $500 million in revenue for the year. It's on track to deliver $800 million, and in 2022 analysts estimate it will bring in over $1 billion for the first time in the company's history.</p><p>But with the rapid expansion of its vehicle-lending segment it could blow all expectations out of the water again next year, and that makes the currently discounted stock price a major opportunity.</p></body></html>","source":"fool_stock","collect":0,"html":"<!DOCTYPE html>\n<html>\n<head>\n<meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html; charset=utf-8\" />\n<meta name=\"viewport\" content=\"width=device-width,initial-scale=1.0,minimum-scale=1.0,maximum-scale=1.0,user-scalable=no\"/>\n<meta name=\"format-detection\" content=\"telephone=no,email=no,address=no\" />\n<title>3 Growth Stocks Down 37% to 60% to Buy Right Now</title>\n<style type=\"text/css\">\na,abbr,acronym,address,applet,article,aside,audio,b,big,blockquote,body,canvas,caption,center,cite,code,dd,del,details,dfn,div,dl,dt,\nem,embed,fieldset,figcaption,figure,footer,form,h1,h2,h3,h4,h5,h6,header,hgroup,html,i,iframe,img,ins,kbd,label,legend,li,mark,menu,nav,\nobject,ol,output,p,pre,q,ruby,s,samp,section,small,span,strike,strong,sub,summary,sup,table,tbody,td,tfoot,th,thead,time,tr,tt,u,ul,var,video{ font:inherit;margin:0;padding:0;vertical-align:baseline;border:0 }\nbody{ font-size:16px; line-height:1.5; color:#999; background:transparent; }\n.wrapper{ overflow:hidden;word-break:break-all;padding:10px; }\nh1,h2{ font-weight:normal; line-height:1.35; margin-bottom:.6em; }\nh3,h4,h5,h6{ line-height:1.35; margin-bottom:1em; }\nh1{ font-size:24px; }\nh2{ font-size:20px; }\nh3{ font-size:18px; }\nh4{ font-size:16px; }\nh5{ font-size:14px; }\nh6{ font-size:12px; }\np,ul,ol,blockquote,dl,table{ margin:1.2em 0; }\nul,ol{ margin-left:2em; }\nul{ list-style:disc; }\nol{ list-style:decimal; }\nli,li p{ margin:10px 0;}\nimg{ max-width:100%;display:block;margin:0 auto 1em; }\nblockquote{ color:#B5B2B1; border-left:3px solid #aaa; padding:1em; }\nstrong,b{font-weight:bold;}\nem,i{font-style:italic;}\ntable{ width:100%;border-collapse:collapse;border-spacing:1px;margin:1em 0;font-size:.9em; }\nth,td{ padding:5px;text-align:left;border:1px solid #aaa; }\nth{ font-weight:bold;background:#5d5d5d; }\n.symbol-link{font-weight:bold;}\n/* header{ border-bottom:1px solid #494756; } */\n.title{ margin:0 0 8px;line-height:1.3;color:#ddd; }\n.meta {color:#5e5c6d;font-size:13px;margin:0 0 .5em; }\na{text-decoration:none; color:#2a4b87;}\n.meta .head { display: inline-block; overflow: hidden}\n.head .h-thumb { width: 30px; height: 30px; margin: 0; padding: 0; border-radius: 50%; float: left;}\n.head .h-content { margin: 0; padding: 0 0 0 9px; float: left;}\n.head .h-name {font-size: 13px; color: #eee; margin: 0;}\n.head .h-time {font-size: 11px; color: #7E829C; margin: 0;line-height: 11px;}\n.small {font-size: 12.5px; display: inline-block; transform: scale(0.9); -webkit-transform: scale(0.9); transform-origin: left; -webkit-transform-origin: left;}\n.smaller {font-size: 12.5px; display: inline-block; transform: scale(0.8); -webkit-transform: scale(0.8); transform-origin: left; -webkit-transform-origin: left;}\n.bt-text {font-size: 12px;margin: 1.5em 0 0 0}\n.bt-text p {margin: 0}\n</style>\n</head>\n<body>\n<div class=\"wrapper\">\n<header>\n<h2 class=\"title\">\n3 Growth Stocks Down 37% to 60% to Buy Right Now\n</h2>\n\n<h4 class=\"meta\">\n\n\n2021-12-29 15:40 GMT+8 <a href=https://www.fool.com/investing/2021/12/28/3-growth-stocks-down-37-to-60-to-buy-right-now/><strong>Motley Fool</strong></a>\n\n\n</h4>\n\n</header>\n<article>\n<div>\n<p>The broad S&P 500 stock market index might be near an all-time high, but below the surface, some of the most popular technology stocks have collapsed. It's on track to deliver $800 million, and in 2022 analysts estimate it will bring in over $1 billion for the first time in the company's history. But with the rapid expansion of its vehicle-lending segment it could blow all expectations out of the water again next year, and that makes the currently discounted stock price a major opportunity.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1173,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":696045162,"gmtCreate":1640584856955,"gmtModify":1640584857025,"author":{"id":"3574593351580989","authorId":"3574593351580989","name":"adioman","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/9b3bef7bf72489ec0e7a95f55a6f24c1","crmLevel":1,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3574593351580989","authorIdStr":"3574593351580989"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Good","listText":"Good","text":"Good","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/696045162","repostId":"1174372651","repostType":2,"repost":{"id":"1174372651","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1640576566,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1174372651?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-12-27 11:42","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Streaming Wars: 5 Things to Watch in 2022","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1174372651","media":"TheStreet","summary":"For streaming platforms, it will nearly be all about content in 2022.\nIn 2021, movie studios acceler","content":"<p>For streaming platforms, it will nearly be all about content in 2022.</p>\n<p>In 2021, movie studios accelerated their move to streaming services as a distribution outlet for their movies as opposed to a traditional theatrical release. In a future dominated by streaming video on demand (SVOD), the higher the number of subscribers for Disney Plus, the more the revenue. Or so the logic goes.</p>\n<p>A recent report by consultancy firm Deloitte that predicts significant customer defection numbers for streaming services could spell bad news. Should Disney investors brace themselves for declining revenue?</p>\n<p><b>A Significant Churn Rate</b></p>\n<p>According to the Deloitte report, more than 150 million paid subscriptions will be canceled globally for all streaming services in 2022. The global churn rate, or the rate at which customers leave streaming services, will be 30%. The churn rate in the United States, the biggest market for streaming services, will be higher at 38%, a roughly 3% increase from 2021.Even as it brings in new subscribers, customer churn can adversely affect revenue, when the number of customers leaving a service is greater than the number of people joining it.</p>\n<p>Deloitte says its 2022 estimates represent a new normal. \"While that cancellation number seems high, churn is about canceling but also potentially adding new services, so we do predict that more subscriptions overall will be added in totality than canceled, and that the overall average number of subscriptions per person will rise,\" said Jana Arbanas, leader of TMT sector coverage at Deloitte. \"In some cases that is because one individual is subscribing to obtain access to specific content, canceling that service once that content has been consumed, and potentially re-upping that service again [later on].\" According to Deloitte's research, 25% of consumers, mostly from Generation Z (people born in or after 1997), have engaged in canceling and again signing up for a particular service in the past year.</p>\n<p><b>Should Disney Investors Be Concerned?</b></p>\n<p>Disney has invested heavily and cut dividends to manage its balance sheet as it spends to expand its streaming footprint. The company plans to garner between 230 million to 260 million subscribers by 2040 for Disney Plus. Customer defection could spell bad news for its stock. However, there are a couple of reasons why a higher-than-average churn rate prediction might not affect the House of Mouse.</p>\n<p>First, the company has a diverse line of streaming channels to help mitigate the more severe effects of customer churn. Most investor attention is focused on Disney Plus, which itself is a loose collection of various services. Looking beyond Disney Plus, the company also has Hulu and ESPN+. The latter is poised for growth, while the former has already established itself as a formidable streaming revenue generator for Disney.</p>\n<p>What this means is that Disney can count on other sources of streaming revenue, beyond Disney Plus, for growth. The company's most recent quarter was an example, when operating losses at Disney Plus, which reported a significant decline in new sign-ups, were “partially offset” by an increase subscription numbers at Hulu, which Disney acquired from its 21st Century Fox purchase.</p>\n<p>Even as Disney Plus reported a decline of 9% in average revenue per user(ARPU) on a yearly basis this past quarter, Hulu increased its ARPU across both versions of its service. For the standard streaming service, it reported a 1% increase in ARPU to $12.75, while the Live TV and streaming combination jumped by 18% to $84.89.</p>\n<p>According to estimates, Disney Plus will be the third most popular streaming service with 59.5 million subscribers, behind leader Amazon.com Inc.'s (AMZN) streaming service and Netflix, Inc. (NFLX). However, Disney leads the pack with a total 113.8 million subscribers, when you take into account subscription numbers for Hulu, which is expected to have 54.3 million people paying for its service.</p>\n<p>The second reason for investors to repose faith in Disney is its rich content library. Both work to ensure that customers think twice before switching to another service. It has enviable legacy content and is investing heavily to produce new quality content across its streaming portfolio. According to online publication Variety, the monthly churn rate for Disney Plus at the end of 2020, its first full year of operation, was 4.3%. This is the second-lowest churn rate in the streaming industry after Netflix, which had a churn rate of 2.5%.The churn rate for Hulu more than doubled to 4.9% from a year ago in April 2021, according to statistics.</p>","source":"lsy1606203311635","collect":0,"html":"<!DOCTYPE html>\n<html>\n<head>\n<meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html; charset=utf-8\" />\n<meta name=\"viewport\" content=\"width=device-width,initial-scale=1.0,minimum-scale=1.0,maximum-scale=1.0,user-scalable=no\"/>\n<meta name=\"format-detection\" content=\"telephone=no,email=no,address=no\" />\n<title>Should Disney Investors Be Wary of Streaming Customer Churn?</title>\n<style type=\"text/css\">\na,abbr,acronym,address,applet,article,aside,audio,b,big,blockquote,body,canvas,caption,center,cite,code,dd,del,details,dfn,div,dl,dt,\nem,embed,fieldset,figcaption,figure,footer,form,h1,h2,h3,h4,h5,h6,header,hgroup,html,i,iframe,img,ins,kbd,label,legend,li,mark,menu,nav,\nobject,ol,output,p,pre,q,ruby,s,samp,section,small,span,strike,strong,sub,summary,sup,table,tbody,td,tfoot,th,thead,time,tr,tt,u,ul,var,video{ font:inherit;margin:0;padding:0;vertical-align:baseline;border:0 }\nbody{ font-size:16px; line-height:1.5; color:#999; background:transparent; }\n.wrapper{ overflow:hidden;word-break:break-all;padding:10px; }\nh1,h2{ font-weight:normal; line-height:1.35; margin-bottom:.6em; }\nh3,h4,h5,h6{ line-height:1.35; margin-bottom:1em; }\nh1{ font-size:24px; }\nh2{ font-size:20px; }\nh3{ font-size:18px; }\nh4{ font-size:16px; }\nh5{ font-size:14px; }\nh6{ font-size:12px; }\np,ul,ol,blockquote,dl,table{ margin:1.2em 0; }\nul,ol{ margin-left:2em; }\nul{ list-style:disc; }\nol{ list-style:decimal; }\nli,li p{ margin:10px 0;}\nimg{ max-width:100%;display:block;margin:0 auto 1em; }\nblockquote{ color:#B5B2B1; border-left:3px solid #aaa; padding:1em; }\nstrong,b{font-weight:bold;}\nem,i{font-style:italic;}\ntable{ width:100%;border-collapse:collapse;border-spacing:1px;margin:1em 0;font-size:.9em; }\nth,td{ padding:5px;text-align:left;border:1px solid #aaa; }\nth{ font-weight:bold;background:#5d5d5d; }\n.symbol-link{font-weight:bold;}\n/* header{ border-bottom:1px solid #494756; } */\n.title{ margin:0 0 8px;line-height:1.3;color:#ddd; }\n.meta {color:#5e5c6d;font-size:13px;margin:0 0 .5em; }\na{text-decoration:none; color:#2a4b87;}\n.meta .head { display: inline-block; overflow: hidden}\n.head .h-thumb { width: 30px; height: 30px; margin: 0; padding: 0; border-radius: 50%; float: left;}\n.head .h-content { margin: 0; padding: 0 0 0 9px; float: left;}\n.head .h-name {font-size: 13px; color: #eee; margin: 0;}\n.head .h-time {font-size: 11px; color: #7E829C; margin: 0;line-height: 11px;}\n.small {font-size: 12.5px; display: inline-block; transform: scale(0.9); -webkit-transform: scale(0.9); transform-origin: left; -webkit-transform-origin: left;}\n.smaller {font-size: 12.5px; display: inline-block; transform: scale(0.8); -webkit-transform: scale(0.8); transform-origin: left; -webkit-transform-origin: left;}\n.bt-text {font-size: 12px;margin: 1.5em 0 0 0}\n.bt-text p {margin: 0}\n</style>\n</head>\n<body>\n<div class=\"wrapper\">\n<header>\n<h2 class=\"title\">\nShould Disney Investors Be Wary of Streaming Customer Churn?\n</h2>\n\n<h4 class=\"meta\">\n\n\n2021-12-13 14:20 GMT+8 <a href=https://www.investopedia.com/should-disney-investors-be-wary-of-streaming-churn-5212655><strong>Investopedia</strong></a>\n\n\n</h4>\n\n</header>\n<article>\n<div>\n<p>KEY TAKEAWAYS\n\nConsultancy firm Deloitte has predicted a significant churn rate for streaming services in 2022.\nDisney investors should look beyond Disney Plus to the company's other streaming ...</p>\n\n<a href=\"https://www.investopedia.com/should-disney-investors-be-wary-of-streaming-churn-5212655\">Web Link</a>\n\n</div>\n\n\n</article>\n</div>\n</body>\n</html>\n","type":0,"thumbnail":"","relate_stocks":{"DIS":"迪士尼"},"source_url":"https://www.investopedia.com/should-disney-investors-be-wary-of-streaming-churn-5212655","is_english":true,"share_image_url":"https://static.laohu8.com/e9f99090a1c2ed51c021029395664489","article_id":"1198630369","content_text":"KEY TAKEAWAYS\n\nConsultancy firm Deloitte has predicted a significant churn rate for streaming services in 2022.\nDisney investors should look beyond Disney Plus to the company's other streaming offerings such as Hulu for its long-term streaming growth story.\nDisney Plus has the second-lowest customer churn rate among streaming services.\n\nFor the past several quarters, investors have rewarded The Walt Disney Company's (DIS) stock for increases in subscription numbers for Disney Plus, its streaming service. From a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) merger that saw Churchill Capital take <b>Lucid</b>(NASDAQ:<b><u>LCID</u></b>) public to <b>Rivian’s</b>(NASDAQ:<b><u>RIVN</u></b>) blockbuster initial public offering (IPO), EV stocks have taken investors for quite a joyride.</p>\n<p>However, as the year closes out, reality is starting to set in. It’s no secret that many EV companies are reporting $0 in earnings with sky-high market capitalizations. Other EV companies are looking to rival <b>Tesla</b>(NASDAQ:<b><u>TSLA</u></b>) even without concrete plans for scalability.</p>\n<p>This momentum in EV stocks has helped companies generate incredible returns this year. However, whether or not these companies can report deliveries and sales that will justify their market caps remains the big question. This period of questioning is weighing on Rivian, Lucid,<b>Fisker</b>(NYSE:<b><u>FSR</u></b>) and <b>Canoo</b>(NASDAQ:<b><u>GOEV</u></b>) today.</p>\n<p>Why Are EV Stocks Down Today?</p>\n<p>A majority of today’s EVs use lithium-ion batteries, making it a key component in the supply chain. However, a report released by the<i>Wall Street Journal</i> details how the scarcity of lithium has driven prices up as EV makers race to acquire the metal. According to research firm Benchmark Mineral Intelligence, the price of lithium has doubled between May and November and is up 240% year to date (YTD). There is plenty of lithium waiting to be mined, but the process to convert it to battery-grade chemicals is lengthy and costly. Additionally, supply has been struggling to keep up with demand, as producers of lithium often face environmental opposition and long, strung out permitting processes. Ultimately, fears of rising lithium prices has investors questioning whether EV companies can make delivery and production targets in 2022.</p>\n<p>A cautious note from Guggenheim is also sending EV stocks down today. Analyst Ali Faghri initiated coverage on Lucid with a price target of $38 and Tesla, with a price target of $924. However, it wasn’t the price target that scared investors. Faghri mentioned that:</p>\n<blockquote>\n “In the near term, however, we believe EV adoption may fall short of industry forecasts, particularly in the US due to a less onerous regulatory backdrop and limited product launches in key market segments. We also see insufficient domestic charging infrastructure and battery capacity as near-term bottlenecks.”\n</blockquote>\n<p>Faghri echoed the <i>WSJ’s</i> fears of a battery shortage as lithium prices continue to rise higher. Heading into 2022, Guggenheim remains cautious on EV stocks.</p>","source":"lsy1606302653667","collect":0,"html":"<!DOCTYPE html>\n<html>\n<head>\n<meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html; charset=utf-8\" />\n<meta name=\"viewport\" content=\"width=device-width,initial-scale=1.0,minimum-scale=1.0,maximum-scale=1.0,user-scalable=no\"/>\n<meta name=\"format-detection\" content=\"telephone=no,email=no,address=no\" />\n<title>RIVN, LCID, GOEV, FSR: Why Are EV Stocks Down Today?</title>\n<style type=\"text/css\">\na,abbr,acronym,address,applet,article,aside,audio,b,big,blockquote,body,canvas,caption,center,cite,code,dd,del,details,dfn,div,dl,dt,\nem,embed,fieldset,figcaption,figure,footer,form,h1,h2,h3,h4,h5,h6,header,hgroup,html,i,iframe,img,ins,kbd,label,legend,li,mark,menu,nav,\nobject,ol,output,p,pre,q,ruby,s,samp,section,small,span,strike,strong,sub,summary,sup,table,tbody,td,tfoot,th,thead,time,tr,tt,u,ul,var,video{ font:inherit;margin:0;padding:0;vertical-align:baseline;border:0 }\nbody{ font-size:16px; line-height:1.5; color:#999; background:transparent; }\n.wrapper{ overflow:hidden;word-break:break-all;padding:10px; }\nh1,h2{ font-weight:normal; line-height:1.35; margin-bottom:.6em; }\nh3,h4,h5,h6{ line-height:1.35; margin-bottom:1em; }\nh1{ font-size:24px; }\nh2{ font-size:20px; }\nh3{ font-size:18px; }\nh4{ font-size:16px; }\nh5{ font-size:14px; }\nh6{ font-size:12px; }\np,ul,ol,blockquote,dl,table{ margin:1.2em 0; }\nul,ol{ margin-left:2em; }\nul{ list-style:disc; }\nol{ list-style:decimal; }\nli,li p{ margin:10px 0;}\nimg{ max-width:100%;display:block;margin:0 auto 1em; }\nblockquote{ color:#B5B2B1; border-left:3px solid #aaa; padding:1em; }\nstrong,b{font-weight:bold;}\nem,i{font-style:italic;}\ntable{ width:100%;border-collapse:collapse;border-spacing:1px;margin:1em 0;font-size:.9em; }\nth,td{ padding:5px;text-align:left;border:1px solid #aaa; }\nth{ font-weight:bold;background:#5d5d5d; }\n.symbol-link{font-weight:bold;}\n/* header{ border-bottom:1px solid #494756; } */\n.title{ margin:0 0 8px;line-height:1.3;color:#ddd; }\n.meta {color:#5e5c6d;font-size:13px;margin:0 0 .5em; }\na{text-decoration:none; color:#2a4b87;}\n.meta .head { display: inline-block; overflow: hidden}\n.head .h-thumb { width: 30px; height: 30px; margin: 0; padding: 0; border-radius: 50%; float: left;}\n.head .h-content { margin: 0; padding: 0 0 0 9px; float: left;}\n.head .h-name {font-size: 13px; color: #eee; margin: 0;}\n.head .h-time {font-size: 11px; color: #7E829C; margin: 0;line-height: 11px;}\n.small {font-size: 12.5px; display: inline-block; transform: scale(0.9); -webkit-transform: scale(0.9); transform-origin: left; -webkit-transform-origin: left;}\n.smaller {font-size: 12.5px; display: inline-block; transform: scale(0.8); -webkit-transform: scale(0.8); transform-origin: left; -webkit-transform-origin: left;}\n.bt-text {font-size: 12px;margin: 1.5em 0 0 0}\n.bt-text p {margin: 0}\n</style>\n</head>\n<body>\n<div class=\"wrapper\">\n<header>\n<h2 class=\"title\">\nRIVN, LCID, GOEV, FSR: Why Are EV Stocks Down Today?\n</h2>\n\n<h4 class=\"meta\">\n\n\n2021-12-21 10:59 GMT+8 <a href=https://investorplace.com/2021/12/rivn-lcid-goev-fsr-why-are-ev-stocks-down-today/><strong>InvestorPlace</strong></a>\n\n\n</h4>\n\n</header>\n<article>\n<div>\n<p>This was a memorable year for electric vehicle (EV) stocks. Analyst Ali Faghri initiated coverage on Lucid with a price target of $38 and Tesla, with a price target of $924. However, it wasn’t the price target that scared investors. Faghri mentioned that:\n\n “In the near term, however, we believe EV adoption may fall short of industry forecasts, particularly in the US due to a less onerous regulatory backdrop and limited product launches in key market segments. We also see insufficient domestic charging infrastructure and battery capacity as near-term bottlenecks.”\n\nFaghri echoed the WSJ’s fears of a battery shortage as lithium prices continue to rise higher. Heading into 2022, Guggenheim remains cautious on EV stocks.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":881,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":690796487,"gmtCreate":1639706833087,"gmtModify":1639708179447,"author":{"id":"3574593351580989","authorId":"3574593351580989","name":"adioman","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/9b3bef7bf72489ec0e7a95f55a6f24c1","crmLevel":1,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3574593351580989","authorIdStr":"3574593351580989"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"He anticipates a crash coming?","listText":"He anticipates a crash coming?","text":"He anticipates a crash coming?","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/690796487","repostId":"1143279118","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1143279118","kind":"news","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Providing stock market headlines, business news, financials and earnings ","home_visible":1,"media_name":"Tiger Newspress","id":"1079075236","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8274c5b9d4c2852bfb1c4d6ce16c68ba"},"pubTimestamp":1639706631,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1143279118?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-12-17 10:03","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Musk has sold 75.66% of Tesla shares he promised to sell","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1143279118","media":"Tiger Newspress","summary":"Tesla Inc Chief Executive Officer Elon Musk has sold nearly $14 billion worth of shares since early ","content":"<p>Tesla Inc Chief Executive Officer Elon Musk has sold nearly $14 billion worth of shares since early November when the world's richest person polled Twitter users about offloading 10% of his stake in the electric-car maker.</p>\n<p>The billionaire sold another 934,091 shares for $884.1 million on Thursday to pay for taxes on the exercise of stock options at a price of $6.24 to buy 2.2 million shares in Tesla, according to U.S. securities filings.</p>\n<p>Musk has sold about 12900512 Tesla shares since November 8, accounting for 75.66% of his previously committed shares.</p>\n<p>Here is a string of transactions he has done:</p>\n<table>\n <thead></thead>\n <tbody>\n <tr>\n <td>DATE</td>\n <td>SHARES ACQUIRED</td>\n <td>SHARES SOLD</td>\n <td>GROSS PROCEEDS</td>\n </tr>\n <tr>\n <td>NOV. 8</td>\n <td>2.2 mln</td>\n <td></td>\n <td></td>\n </tr>\n <tr>\n <td>NOV. 8</td>\n <td></td>\n <td>934,091</td>\n <td>$1.10 bln</td>\n </tr>\n <tr>\n <td>NOV. 9</td>\n <td></td>\n <td>3.1 mln</td>\n <td>$3.35 bln</td>\n </tr>\n <tr>\n <td>NOV. 10</td>\n <td></td>\n <td>500,000</td>\n <td>$527.3 mln</td>\n </tr>\n <tr>\n <td>NOV. 11</td>\n <td></td>\n <td>639,737</td>\n <td>$687.3 mln</td>\n </tr>\n <tr>\n <td>NOV. 12</td>\n <td></td>\n <td>1.2 mln</td>\n <td>$1.24 bln</td>\n </tr>\n <tr>\n <td>NOV. 15</td>\n <td>2.1 mln</td>\n <td></td>\n <td></td>\n </tr>\n <tr>\n <td>NOV. 15</td>\n <td></td>\n <td>934,091</td>\n <td>$930.7 mln</td>\n </tr>\n <tr>\n <td>NOV. 16</td>\n <td>2.1 mln</td>\n <td></td>\n <td></td>\n </tr>\n <tr>\n <td>NOV. 16</td>\n <td></td>\n <td>934,091</td>\n <td>$973.4 mln</td>\n </tr>\n <tr>\n <td>NOV. 23</td>\n <td>2.2 mln</td>\n <td></td>\n <td></td>\n </tr>\n <tr>\n <td></td>\n <td></td>\n <td>934,091</td>\n <td>$1.05 bln</td>\n </tr>\n <tr>\n <td>DEC. 2</td>\n <td>2.1 mln</td>\n <td></td>\n <td></td>\n </tr>\n <tr>\n <td></td>\n <td></td>\n <td>934,091</td>\n <td>$1.01 bln</td>\n </tr>\n <tr>\n <td>Dec.9</td>\n <td>2.2 mln</td>\n <td></td>\n <td></td>\n </tr>\n <tr>\n <td></td>\n <td></td>\n <td>934,091</td>\n <td>$963.2 mln</td>\n </tr>\n <tr>\n <td>Dec.13</td>\n <td>2.1 mln</td>\n <td></td>\n <td></td>\n </tr>\n <tr>\n <td></td>\n <td></td>\n <td>934,091</td>\n <td>$906.5 mln</td>\n </tr>\n <tr>\n <td>Dec. 16</td>\n <td>2.2 mln</td>\n <td></td>\n <td></td>\n </tr>\n <tr>\n <td></td>\n <td></td>\n <td>934,091</td>\n <td>$884.1 mln</td>\n </tr>\n <tr>\n <td>Total</td>\n <td>17.2 mln</td>\n <td>12.9 mln</td>\n <td>$13.62 bln</td>\n </tr>\n </tbody>\n</table>\n<p>HOW DID MUSK SELL?</p>\n<p>Musk said on Nov. 6 he would sell 10% of his stake if Twitter users agreed.
