A good portfolio management strategy will automatically ensure that“stop-loss”levels get triggered, exposure decreases, and cash levels rise when the selling begins.\nWhile it is essential to take advantage of the melt-up while it lasts, just don’t become overly complacent“this time is different.”\nIt likely isn’t.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":276,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":882039517,"gmtCreate":1631629874139,"gmtModify":1631892847745,"author":{"id":"3561626499477725","authorId":"3561626499477725","name":"LEEPK","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/797bbc4f6e8194fe6be369618bc544f5","crmLevel":6,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3561626499477725","authorIdStr":"3561626499477725"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"like","listText":"like","text":"like","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":10,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/882039517","repostId":"1155175288","repostType":2,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":121,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":885466598,"gmtCreate":1631816672214,"gmtModify":1631890392019,"author":{"id":"3561626499477725","authorId":"3561626499477725","name":"LEEPK","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/797bbc4f6e8194fe6be369618bc544f5","crmLevel":6,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3561626499477725","authorIdStr":"3561626499477725"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"like","listText":"like","text":"like","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":9,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/885466598","repostId":"2167651799","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2167651799","kind":"highlight","pubTimestamp":1631806223,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/2167651799?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-09-16 23:30","market":"us","language":"en","title":"3 Ultra-Popular Stocks With 81% to 98% Downside, According to Wall Street","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2167651799","media":"Motley Fool","summary":"Certain analysts and investment banks see these stocks losing a majority of their value.","content":"
A quick look at the long-term chart of the benchmark S&P 500 will demonstrate to any investor that optimism is rewarded over the long run. However, Leerink Partners analyst Mani Foroohar sees things differently. Foroohar and Leerink have stuck by their sell rating and $85 price target on the company as it's soared. If Moderna were to fall back to $85, it would shed 81% of its value.
\n
On one hand, Moderna has been practically unstoppable, thanks to the successful development of mRNA-1273, one of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccines to receive emergency-use authorization in the United States. In late-stage clinical studies released last November, Moderna's two-dose regimen of mRNA-1273 led to a vaccine efficacy (VE) of 94.1%. Even though recent studies have shown that VE wanes over time, the initial VE offered by mRNA-1273 has made it one of the two most-popular inoculation options in developed markets.
\n
Also working in Moderna's favor is the possibility that COVID-19 vaccines could become a recurring/seasonal thing. Mutations and variations of COVID-19 make it increasingly likely that it'll become an endemic disease. Without the ability to rid COVID-19 from the U.S. and other countries, booster shots may be necessary to combat it. In other words, Moderna's one-hit wonder could become a regular revenue stream.
\n
On the other hand, mRNA-1273 is Moderna's only revenue-producing asset, and competition in the vaccine space is only destined to become more crowded. Even if Moderna's vaccine remains toward the top end in terms of efficacy, the sheer volume of doses that need to be administered globally will open the door to other successful drugmakers.
\n
While Leerink's price target is potentially too aggressive to the downside, Moderna does have a lot to prove with a $181 billion market cap and only one marketed drug.
\n
Now-former CEO Steve Burns standing next to a prototype of the Endurance all-electric. pickup. But Wall Street isn't too keen on one EV manufacturer, in particular: Lordstown Motors (NASDAQ:RIDE).
\n
According to analyst Joseph Spak at RBC Capital, Lordstown is worthy of an underperform rating and a $1 price target. If this price target becomes a reality, Lordstown's shares will have fallen 84%.
\n
Whereas there was both a clear bull and bear argument to share about Moderna above, the same can't be said of Lordstown Motors. It's been nothing short of a disaster.
\n
In March, a number of allegations were levied against the company by short-side firm Hindenburg Research. Although a number of these allegations proved to be without merit, a committee formed by Lordstown's independent directors found that the company had exaggerated the number of pre-orders of its Endurance EV pickup. Both Lordstown's CEO Steve Burns and CFO Julio Rodriguez resigned in the wake of these findings.
\n
To make matters worse, Lordstown Motors may not have enough capital to survive the next year. It costs a pretty penny to build a new automaker from the ground up. Even though the company ended June with $366 million in cash, it reported a second-quarter loss of $108 million.
\n
The real issue, as my auto-focused colleague John Rosevear notes, is that the company's Endurance pickup isn't anywhere close to being on schedule. Lordstown will probably see Endurance deliveries to customers commence in the second quarter of 2022, which doesn't exactly align with the idea put forward by the company that production would begin in September.
\n
With few avenues to raise cash and lukewarm demand for Endurance, a $1 price target may even prove too generous.
\n
\n
AMC Entertainment: Implied downside of 98%
\n
And then there was meme stock kingpin AMC Entertainment (NYSE:AMC). AMC shouldn't be a surprise on this list, as the most bullish investment bank on Wall Street sees the company losing nearly 70% of its value, as of this past weekend. On the other end of the spectrum, Alan Gould at Loop Capital foresees AMC eventually heading back to $1 a share. That would be a decline of 98%, for those of you keeping score at home.
\n
The reason AMC has shot out of a cannon and pushed well beyond Wall Street's collective price targets is the unwavering support of retail investors who believe it'll undergo another short squeeze. This is a very short-term event whereby pessimists who are betting against a stock (i.e., short-sellers) run for the exit at the same time. Since short-sellers have to buy shares to cover their short positions, it can cause a rising stock price to briefly go parabolic.
\n
But as Gould and other analysts have noted with AMC, the numbers don't add up. While it's impossible to pinpoint when emotion will stop being the driving force behind AMC, the operating performance of a company and its balance sheet always dictate the long-term price performance of a company's stock. In this respect, the movie-theater industry has been in a nearly two-decade decline, with streaming services siphoning off moviegoers and AMC building up share in an industry where the proverbial pie is getting smaller.
\n
The far greater concern for AMC is the amount of leverage it took on to survive the pandemic. Although the company ended June with $2.023 billion in liquidity ($1.81 billion of which is cash), it's also sitting on nearly $5.5 billion in corporate debt, $420 million in deferred rent, and close to $4.9 billion in lease liabilities.
\n
By the end of 2023, the company expects to lay out $2.51 billion, at minimum, for lease liabilities and will likely have to repay its $420 million in back rent. Historically low lending rates, an ongoing quantitative easing program designed to weigh down long-term bond yields, and a free-spending Congress have all helped to make cheap capital widely abundant for businesses. This is helping to fuel acquisitions, hiring, and (most importantly) innovation.
\n
Yet for some companies, their exponential growth is just beginning. For each of the following hypergrowth stocks, Wall Street's consensus sales estimate for 2023, courtesy of FactSet, implies a revenue increase ranging from a low of 1,185% (yes, a low of 1,185%) to a high of 12,629%, compared to 2020 sales.
\n
Moderna: Implied sales increase of 1,185%
\n
Arguably the best-known name on this list is biotech Moderna (NASDAQ:MRNA). According to Wall Street, Moderna's annual revenue is expected to catapult from the $803.4 million recorded in 2020 to an estimated $10.33 billion in 2023. Interestingly, the $10.33 billion in projected sales for 2023 is about half of the $20.13 billion forecast this year.
\n
As a lot of you probably know, Modena's success is tied to the development of its coronavirus vaccine mRNA-1273. When the company ran a large-scale study of its COVID-19 vaccine, the results (released in November) demonstrated a vaccine efficacy (VE) of 94% and a strong propensity to keep vaccinated individuals from getting severe forms of the disease. This initial VE made Moderna's COVID vaccine a slam dunk for Emergency Use Authorization in the United States.
\n
When the company announced its second-quarter operating results on Aug. 5, it stuck to its original forecast of delivering between 800 million and 1 billion doses in 2021, with net product sales of around $20 billion. Next year, Moderna believes it can provide between 2 billion and 3 billion doses. As a reminder, the Moderna vaccine is a two-dose regimen, meaning its 2022 output could fully inoculate 1 billion to 1.5 billion people.
\n
Also working in Modena's favor is the possibility of booster vaccinations. The mutability of COVID, coupled with a handful of studies suggesting that VE begins waning at the six-month mark, could create a recurring vaccination need globally.
\n
While Moderna might sound like a surefire growth story, there are still big question marks about its future. For example, even though mRNA-1273 has been wildly successful, it's the only therapy that's generating sales for the company. Moderna's non-COVID pipeline looks to be years away from bringing in meaningful revenue.
\n
Equally concerning is the likelihood that the COVID vaccine space is going to become crowded. At some point soon, Novavax should join the field with a formidable initial VE of about 90%. It is also working on a combination COVID/influenza vaccine, which would be a differentiator and game changer.
\n
Not to take anything away from what Moderna has done, but a $150 billion market cap for a company with a single therapy seems awfully risky.
\n
Zogenix: Implied sales increase of 2,451%
\n
Another biotech stock that's expected to generate jaw-dropping sales growth through 2023 is small-cap Zogenix (NASDAQ:ZGNX). If Wall Street's consensus estimate proves accurate, the company's $13.64 million in reported sales in 2020 could grow to $348 million by 2023.
\n
Like Moderna, there's a single drug that looks to do all of the heavy lifting for Zogenix over the next couple of years: Fintepla. This is a drug targeted at a variety of seizure-related indications. It's already been approved by the Food and Drug Administration to treat Dravet syndrome. And Zogenix has plans to file a supplemental new drug application by the end of the current quarter to expand Fintepla's label to include Lennox-Gastaut syndrome (LGS). Both Dravet and LGS are rare forms of childhood-onset epilepsy. If approved, Zogenix could launch Fintepla for LGS patients in this country by as early as the first half of 2022.
\n
And Zogenix still isn't done with Fintepla. After hashing out the finer points with the FDA, the company intends to initiate a phase 3 study involving Fintepla as a treatment for CDKL5 deficiency disorder before the end of the year. Thus, organic growth and label expansion opportunities are expected to fuel sales of Fintepla to almost $350 million in three years.
\n
What'll be particularly interesting is how Zogenix fares against cannabinoid-focused drug developer GW Pharmaceuticals, which was acquired by Jazz Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:JAZZ) in May. GW's lead drug, Epidiolex, is a cannabidiol-based treatment that's been approved by the FDA to treat Dravet syndrome and LGS, and it launched in advance of Zogenix's Fintepla. For comparative purposes, Jazz announced that Epidiolex brought home $155.9 million in sales just in the second quarter, although it has an additional indication under its belt (tuberous sclerosis complex) where it won't compete against Zogenix.
\n
Although Epidiolex appears to have the upper hand now, it's worth noting that seizure-reduction efficacy for Fintepla looked very promising in late-stage clinical trials. To be 100% clear, the GW Pharma and Zogenix studies were never pitted head-to-head, and their baseline parameters are different. Nevertheless, Fintepla led to a 62.3% reduction in mean monthly convulsive seizure frequency compared to placebo at the six-week mark for Dravet syndrome patients.
\n
Comparatively, Jazz's Epidiolex demonstrated reductions in seizure frequency from baseline of 56% and 47%, respectively, for the lower- and higher-dose treatments in phase 3 studies in Dravet syndrome patients. Suffice it to say, these could be highly competitive indications for the foreseeable future.
\n
Marathon Digital Holdings: Implied sales increase of 12,629%
\n
Now, if you want pedal-to-the-metal growth, look no further than Marathon Digital Holdings (NASDAQ:MARA). After reporting a meager $4.36 million in sales in 2020, Wall Street anticipates full-year sales will climb to $555 million by 2023. That's an increase of 12,629%.
\n
If you're wondering how sales growth of this magnitude is possible for a company not involved in drug development, look no further than cryptocurrencies.
\n
Marathon Digital is a cryptocurrency mining company. It operates a farm of high-powered computing devices designed to solve complex mathematical equations that validate groups of transactions (known as a block) as valid on a digital currency's blockchain. For being the first to validate a block, Marathon is paid a block reward. This reward is typically a set amount of digital tokens from the digital currency being mined.
\n
In Marathon's case, it's mining Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC), the largest cryptocurrency in the world by market cap. Being the first to mine a Bitcoin block results in the company being awarded 6.25 Bitcoin tokens, which were worth a cool $292,000, as of Aug. 30.
\n
The reason Marathon's sales are skyrocketing so quickly is because it's in the midst of deploying one of the largest Bitcoin-mining operations in the United States. As of the beginning of August, approximately 30,100 miners were operating, with another 103,000 ordered and yet to be installed. By the end of the first quarter of 2022, Marathon should have north of 100,000 miners in operation, with all 133,120 up and running by July 2022.
\n
Though Marathon is the fastest-growing of these three hypergrowth stocks, it's also arguably the most dangerous investment of this trio. That's because it's entirely dependent on external factors, such as interest in, and the price of, Bitcoin -- and not innovation.
\n
What's more, the barrier to entry in the cryptocurrency mining space is virtually nonexistent. Historically low lending rates, an ongoing quantitative easing program designed to weigh down long-term bond yields, and a free-spending Congress have all helped to make cheap capital widely abundant for businesses. This is helping to fuel acquisitions, hiring, and (most importantly) innovation.\nYet for some companies, their exponential growth is just beginning. For each of the following hypergrowth stocks, Wall Street's consensus sales estimate for 2023, courtesy of FactSet, implies a revenue increase ranging from a low of 1,185% (yes, a low of 1,185%) to a high of 12,629%, compared to 2020 sales.\nModerna: Implied sales increase of 1,185%\nArguably the best-known name on this list is biotech Moderna (NASDAQ:MRNA). According to Wall Street, Moderna's annual revenue is expected to catapult from the $803.4 million recorded in 2020 to an estimated $10.33 billion in 2023. Interestingly, the $10.33 billion in projected sales for 2023 is about half of the $20.13 billion forecast this year.\nAs a lot of you probably know, Modena's success is tied to the development of its coronavirus vaccine mRNA-1273. When the company ran a large-scale study of its COVID-19 vaccine, the results (released in November) demonstrated a vaccine efficacy (VE) of 94% and a strong propensity to keep vaccinated individuals from getting severe forms of the disease. This initial VE made Moderna's COVID vaccine a slam dunk for Emergency Use Authorization in the United States.\nWhen the company announced its second-quarter operating results on Aug. 5, it stuck to its original forecast of delivering between 800 million and 1 billion doses in 2021, with net product sales of around $20 billion. Next year, Moderna believes it can provide between 2 billion and 3 billion doses. As a reminder, the Moderna vaccine is a two-dose regimen, meaning its 2022 output could fully inoculate 1 billion to 1.5 billion people.\nAlso working in Modena's favor is the possibility of booster vaccinations. The mutability of COVID, coupled with a handful of studies suggesting that VE begins waning at the six-month mark, could create a recurring vaccination need globally.\nWhile Moderna might sound like a surefire growth story, there are still big question marks about its future. For example, even though mRNA-1273 has been wildly successful, it's the only therapy that's generating sales for the company. Moderna's non-COVID pipeline looks to be years away from bringing in meaningful revenue.\nEqually concerning is the likelihood that the COVID vaccine space is going to become crowded. At some point soon, Novavax should join the field with a formidable initial VE of about 90%. It is also working on a combination COVID/influenza vaccine, which would be a differentiator and game changer.\nNot to take anything away from what Moderna has done, but a $150 billion market cap for a company with a single therapy seems awfully risky.\nZogenix: Implied sales increase of 2,451%\nAnother biotech stock that's expected to generate jaw-dropping sales growth through 2023 is small-cap Zogenix (NASDAQ:ZGNX). If Wall Street's consensus estimate proves accurate, the company's $13.64 million in reported sales in 2020 could grow to $348 million by 2023.\nLike Moderna, there's a single drug that looks to do all of the heavy lifting for Zogenix over the next couple of years: Fintepla. If approved, Zogenix could launch Fintepla for LGS patients in this country by as early as the first half of 2022.\nAnd Zogenix still isn't done with Fintepla. After hashing out the finer points with the FDA, the company intends to initiate a phase 3 study involving Fintepla as a treatment for CDKL5 deficiency disorder before the end of the year. Thus, organic growth and label expansion opportunities are expected to fuel sales of Fintepla to almost $350 million in three years.\nWhat'll be particularly interesting is how Zogenix fares against cannabinoid-focused drug developer GW Pharmaceuticals, which was acquired by Jazz Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:JAZZ) in May. GW's lead drug, Epidiolex, is a cannabidiol-based treatment that's been approved by the FDA to treat Dravet syndrome and LGS, and it launched in advance of Zogenix's Fintepla. For comparative purposes, Jazz announced that Epidiolex brought home $155.9 million in sales just in the second quarter, although it has an additional indication under its belt (tuberous sclerosis complex) where it won't compete against Zogenix.\nAlthough Epidiolex appears to have the upper hand now, it's worth noting that seizure-reduction efficacy for Fintepla looked very promising in late-stage clinical trials. To be 100% clear, the GW Pharma and Zogenix studies were never pitted head-to-head, and their baseline parameters are different. Nevertheless, Fintepla led to a 62.3% reduction in mean monthly convulsive seizure frequency compared to placebo at the six-week mark for Dravet syndrome patients.\nComparatively, Jazz's Epidiolex demonstrated reductions in seizure frequency from baseline of 56% and 47%, respectively, for the lower- and higher-dose treatments in phase 3 studies in Dravet syndrome patients. Suffice it to say, these could be highly competitive indications for the foreseeable future.\nMarathon Digital Holdings: Implied sales increase of 12,629%\nNow, if you want pedal-to-the-metal growth, look no further than Marathon Digital Holdings (NASDAQ:MARA). After reporting a meager $4.36 million in sales in 2020, Wall Street anticipates full-year sales will climb to $555 million by 2023. That's an increase of 12,629%.\nIf you're wondering how sales growth of this magnitude is possible for a company not involved in drug development, look no further than cryptocurrencies.\nMarathon Digital is a cryptocurrency mining company. It operates a farm of high-powered computing devices designed to solve complex mathematical equations that validate groups of transactions (known as a block) as valid on a digital currency's blockchain. For being the first to validate a block, Marathon is paid a block reward. This reward is typically a set amount of digital tokens from the digital currency being mined.\nIn Marathon's case, it's mining Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC), the largest cryptocurrency in the world by market cap. Being the first to mine a Bitcoin block results in the company being awarded 6.25 Bitcoin tokens, which were worth a cool $292,000, as of Aug. 30.\nThe reason Marathon's sales are skyrocketing so quickly is because it's in the midst of deploying one of the largest Bitcoin-mining operations in the United States. As of the beginning of August, approximately 30,100 miners were operating, with another 103,000 ordered and yet to be installed. By the end of the first quarter of 2022, Marathon should have north of 100,000 miners in operation, with all 133,120 up and running by July 2022.\nThough Marathon is the fastest-growing of these three hypergrowth stocks, it's also arguably the most dangerous investment of this trio. That's because it's entirely dependent on external factors, such as interest in, and the price of, Bitcoin -- and not innovation.\nWhat's more, the barrier to entry in the cryptocurrency mining space is virtually nonexistent. As time passes, it's going to be tougher for Marathon to successfully mine Bitcoin.\nAs the icing on the cake, Bitcoin's block rewards halve every four years. By 2024, only 3.125 Bitcoin tokens will be paid for validating a block. Essentially, Marathon is competing against a growing number of mining companies for a reward that's shrinking. It simply doesn't sound like an operating model with long-term staying power.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":74,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":820121745,"gmtCreate":1633359958711,"gmtModify":1633359958903,"author":{"id":"3561626499477725","authorId":"3561626499477725","name":"LEEPK","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/797bbc4f6e8194fe6be369618bc544f5","crmLevel":6,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3561626499477725","authorIdStr":"3561626499477725"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"like ","listText":"like ","text":"like","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":6,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/820121745","repostId":"2172799574","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2172799574","kind":"highlight","pubTimestamp":1633358220,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/2172799574?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-10-04 22:37","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Market Sell-Off: 1 Tech Stock That Could Triple in 5 Years","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2172799574","media":"Motley Fool","summary":"Fastly's share price has taken a beating over the last year.","content":"
Last week, all three major U.S. indices took a hit, though the tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite fell further than the S&P 500 or the Dow Jones Industrial Average. Unfortunately, this sell-off added to the pain of previous losses for some shareholders, myself included. For instance, Fastly (NYSE:FSLY) stock is now down about 70% from its all-time high.
\n
However, dips in the market can be buying opportunities when we are talking about a good company, especially if the company in question still has strong prospects for future growth. And I think Fastly checks that box. In fact, I think this tech stock could grow threefold in the next five years.
\n
Here's why.
\n
The promise of edge computing
\n
Fastly makes the internet faster. Its edge cloud platform accelerates and secures the delivery of content (e.g. applications, streaming media), ensuring a good experience for end-users like you and me. To do this, Fastly's global network -- composed of servers strategically positioned near internet exchange points -- sits between its customers' data centers and their end users' devices, effectively reducing the distance data must travel to reach its destination.
\n
Why does this matter? Latency makes for a poor user experience. If a website or mobile app loads too slowly, people tend to abandon the service. This truth is made more pressing by digital transformation. As more companies engage with consumers through the internet, providing a high-quality digital experience becomes more critical.
\n
To that end, Fastly puts its market opportunity at $36.2 billion by 2022.
\n
Competitive position
\n
Fastly built its edge cloud for the modern internet. Its network is composed of fewer, more powerful servers than traditional content delivery networks like Akamai. That means its edge cloud can handle more requests more quickly, so fewer requests are routed back to the client's data center. In turn, that translates into better performance and cost savings.
\n
Fastly also benefits from its cloud-agnostic position, meaning its platform is not associated with or biased toward any public cloud, like Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS). Fastly works with all of them, intelligently routing traffic across different infrastructures. This means its clients can work with their preferred cloud vendors while monitoring all networks from a single platform.
\n
Financial performance
\n
During the second quarter of 2021, an outage in Fastly's network caused a significant disruption for many websites, leading the company to post lackluster financial results. Revenue grew just 14%, and management lowered guidance for the third quarter. Even worse, CEO Joshua Bixby noted that a large customer had not yet returned to the platform as of the Q2 earnings call.
\n
According to CDN Planet, this unnamed customer is likely Amazon, since the retail giant stopped using Fastly shortly after the outage. However, Amazon did return to the platform in August, meaning Fastly may impress Wall Street when it announces third-quarter earnings on Oct. 27.
\n
Despite these recent headwinds, Fastly's financial performance looks a little more impressive over the long term.
\n
\n
\n
\n

Metric

\n

Q2 2019 (TTM)

\n

Q2 2021 (TTM)

\n

CAGR

\n
\n
\n
\n
\n

Customers

\n

1,627

\n

2,581

\n

26%

\n
\n
\n

Revenue

\n

$169.4 million

\n

$323.2 million

\n

38%

\n
\n
\n
\n
Source: Fastly SEC Filings, YCharts. Last year, the company acquired Signal Sciences, broadening its security portfolio. During the most recent quarter, Fastly launched a beta version of the Signal Sciences agent on its edge cloud, and it introduced its first managed security offering. Collectively, these services help the company further differentiate itself from rivals.
\n
Fastly is also seeing traction with its Compute@Edge product, a new service that enables developers to build applications directly on Fastly's network. Compared to rival solutions, Compute@Edge offers 100 times faster code execution, which means better performance for end users. And during the most recent quarter, Fastly added new customers across a range of industries, from gaming to e-commerce.
\n
The potential for threefold returns
\n
Fastly still has a lot to prove, and investors should monitor its ability to add new customers. But the world is only becoming more digital, and that should create demand for Fastly's edge cloud in the coming years.
\n
More to the point, with a market cap of $4.7 billion, Fastly is three times smaller than Akamai. But if the company can maintain its top-line momentum, its share price could easily triple in the next five years. Collectively, these services help the company further differentiate itself from rivals.\nFastly is also seeing traction with its Compute@Edge product, a new service that enables developers to build applications directly on Fastly's network. Compared to rival solutions, Compute@Edge offers 100 times faster code execution, which means better performance for end users. And during the most recent quarter, Fastly added new customers across a range of industries, from gaming to e-commerce.\nThe potential for threefold returns\nFastly still has a lot to prove, and investors should monitor its ability to add new customers. But the world is only becoming more digital, and that should create demand for Fastly's edge cloud in the coming years.\nMore to the point, with a market cap of $4.7 billion, Fastly is three times smaller than Akamai. But if the company can maintain its top-line momentum, its share price could easily triple in the next five years. That's why now looks like a good time to add this growth stock to your portfolio.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":139,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":862101583,"gmtCreate":1632840967560,"gmtModify":1632840967624,"author":{"id":"3561626499477725","authorId":"3561626499477725","name":"LEEPK","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/797bbc4f6e8194fe6be369618bc544f5","crmLevel":6,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3561626499477725","authorIdStr":"3561626499477725"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"like ","listText":"like ","text":"like","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":6,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/862101583","repostId":"2170672462","repostType":2,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":178,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":862308204,"gmtCreate":1632835871512,"gmtModify":1632835871512,"author":{"id":"3561626499477725","authorId":"3561626499477725","name":"LEEPK","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/797bbc4f6e8194fe6be369618bc544f5","crmLevel":6,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3561626499477725","authorIdStr":"3561626499477725"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"like ","listText":"like ","text":"like","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":4,"commentSize":2,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/862308204","repostId":"1193303799","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1193303799","kind":"news","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Providing stock market headlines, business news, financials and earnings ","home_visible":1,"media_name":"Tiger Newspress","id":"1079075236","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8274c5b9d4c2852bfb1c4d6ce16c68ba"},"pubTimestamp":1632834110,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1193303799?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-09-28 21:01","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Crypto stocks dipped in premarket trading","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1193303799","media":"Tiger Newspress","summary":"Crypto stocks dipped in premarket trading as SEC chair saying unregulated crypto markets will ‘not e","content":"
Crypto stocks dipped in premarket trading as SEC chair saying unregulated crypto markets will ‘not end well’.Bit Mining,Marathon Digital,Canaan,Ebang international,Square,Bit Digital,Riot Blockchain,SoS Ltd,PayPal and Coinbase fell between 2% and 4%.
\n

\n
U.S. cryptocurrency markets and related platforms will “not end well” if they stay outside the purview of regulators, according to Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman Gary Gensler.
\n
“There’s trading venues and lending venues where they coalesce around these, and they have not just dozens but hundreds and sometimes thousands of tokens on them,” Gensler said Monday at the Code Conference in Beverly Hills, California. “This is not going to end well if it stays outside the regulatory space.”
\n
The regulator has previously labeled crypto as the “Wild West” and signaled that he wants more robust oversight of the markets. Affirm's loss includes a $105.2 million increase in stock-based compensation following the company's January initial public offering.\nRevenue for the period rose to $261.8 million from $153.3 million a year prior, while analysts tracked by FactSet had been expecting $224.4 million. Affirm's gross merchandise revenue increased to $2.5 billion from $1.2 billion, while analysts were anticipating $2.2 billion.\n\"The secular shift toward flexible and transparent financial products continues to accelerate,\" Chief Executive Max Levchin said in a release.\nFor the current quarter, Affirm expects revenue of $240 million to $250 million and GMV of $2.42 billion to $2.52 billion.
