for stocks like $Alibaba(BABA)$ , I plan to dollar cost average it over the months as it recovers from the dip. it is not possible to time our entry this at the lowest and sell at the highest. for simplicity, if the fundamentals are good, time in the market is more important than running the market. 

the recent regulations have brought concerns which are valid. these concerns did not stop the company from serving the customers, delivering, investing and going regional. they have competitors both locally and in the region. e-commerce is here and will remain a part of our near future. the company continues to innovate, provide value and convenience especially during the pandemic.

while the fundamentals of the company remain sound, the prospects look good. there are no guarantee coming to profits and growth.  yet, I believe that when companies deliver value, they will be appreciated and rewarded. my investment time horizon is not tomorrow but hopefully for years. as an active investor, I hope to grow with the company. is this a bargain or falling knife? personally, I choose to see this as an investment for the future at a good price now.
