The European Union, NOT Apple will be deciding how your Apple devices get charged. In the EU they are now requiring that virtually everything use the same charger. Further, they are banning chargers being included with devices. Their intention is to limit one charger to each person. Due to massive consumer demand, Apple is bringing back the magnetic charging connector on its new MacBook Pro. Therefore, they will make a separate MacBook Pro just for the European Union.
