Shares of ThaiBev closed flat at 66.5 Singapore cents on Friday, before the results were released.\nSingapore Airlines (C6L): The national carrier said on Friday that it has ceased monthly variable component cuts to basic salary for all its Singapore-based staff from Aug 1, which were implemented in September 2020. SIA shares closed 0.8 per cent or S$0.04 higher at S$5.12 on Friday, after the announcement.\nMapletree Logistics Trust (M44U): The Reit manager on Friday evening announced that it has proposed to acquire a fully leased, freehold cold-storage facility in Australia for A$42.8 million (S$42.8 million). The proposed acquisition is expected to generate an initial net property income yield of 4.3 per cent at this purchase price and will be accretive at the distribution level. Units of MLT closed at S$2.09 on Friday, down 1 per cent or S$0.02, before the announcement.\nKeppel DC Reit (AJBU): The data centre Reit's manager said on Friday that the private placement of 81 million units was approximately 3.7 times covered. The units were issued at the top end of the range it announced on Thursday. On Friday, units of Keppel DC Reit closed 1.2 per cent or S$0.03 lower at S$2.54, after the announcement.\nComfortDelGro (C52): The transport operator on Friday evening recorded S$91 million in net profit for the half year ended June 2021, reversing a S$6.6 million loss in the year-ago period. ComfortDelGro also declared an interim dividend of 2.1 Singapore cents per share. ComfortDelGro shares ended Friday up 0.6 per cent or S$0.01 at S$1.62, before the results were released.\nNanofilm Technologies (MZH): The mainboard-listed nanotechnology company posted a net profit of S$17.9 million for the first half of this year, a 3.1 per cent fall from S$18.5 million in the year-ago period. Its board has declared an interim dividend of S$0.01 per share for the half year ended June, down from S$0.019 per share in the year-ago period. The company also announced that its chief operating officer Ricky Tan has resigned to pursue other opportunities, following the group's reorganisation. Nanofilm shares fell 1.3 per cent or S$0.08 to close at S$5.97 on Friday, before the announcements.\nUMS Holdings (558): The precision engineering group on Friday evening posted a 46 per cent increase in net profit to a record S$16.9 million for the second quarter ended June 2021. UMS has also declared an interim dividend of one Singapore cent per share, as well as a special bonus issue of up to 134 million new ordinary shares on the basis of one bonus share for every four existing ordinary shares. UMS shares closed 0.6 per cent or S$0.01 lower at S$1.75 on Friday, before the results were released.\nHRnetGroup (CHZ): The recruitment firm on Friday evening saw net profit climb 71.2 per cent to S$35.9 million for the half year ended June 30, from about S$21 million in the year-ago period. Shares of mainboard-listed HRnetGroup fell 1.8 per cent or 1.5 Singapore cents to finish at 80 cents on Friday, before the results were released.\nQ&M Dental (QC7): The dental healthcare group on Friday posted a 51 per cent rise in net profit to S$11.4 million for the fiscal second quarter ended June 2021. The board has proposed a second interim dividend of one Singapore cent per share, to be paid out on Sept 3.
