There was a company called Webvan in 2000s dotcom bubble.  It has a nice and advance idea but went burst because the technology then is not mature enough for people to place order e.g. mobile phone did not have app then, there is no 4G, there is no app that utilise GPS.  With the current technology, all Webvan idea able to be executed and result in Meituan etc. Webvan spent a lot of money to buy hardware i.e truck to delivery fresh groceries which was asset heavy business model. 

Hence, most of the success does not count on just single idea but requires the necessary elements and environment to be ready.
