Salesforce main business is sticky in nature. Once clients adopt their system, it’s tough for them to switch out, hence providing Salesforce a stream of recurring revenue. 

It’s difficult for Salesforce rival to compete againstthem given the size of Salesforce and business nature. Rivals will likely have to tap into unpenetrated markets.
