I talked to someone recently that is well connected in the restaurant business. He said that these companies that are using BYND products aren't doing it to expand their vegan menu or for green reasons, but as a hedge against rising meat prices. He claims that the prices of meat are expected to go up for at least the next several quarters!
BYND is a pea based product and a member of the legume family. They do not need Nitrogen fertilizer and can be grown extremely cheap! BYND will continue to refine their product and reach economies of scale.
Look for increased adoption of the BYND products from more players than just McDonald's, KFC, Panda Express!$Beyond Meat, Inc.(BYND)$
