In 2020 US TV ad spend was 63bn USD. CTV ad spend was 9 bn. Thereis sitll more than 50bn of TV add spend to transfer to CTV in US alone. Roku is the leader of that space and they have been successfully competing against Google, Amazon and Apple since the beginning.
The company is traded around 10x revenue and the platform growth in Q3 2021 was 80% yoy.
Focus on the big picture and the specific business and not noise related to the FED or some analyst report.
Linear TV is going to die. CTV is going to replace it. CTV will also take the digital marketing budgets so the opportunity is even bigger.
