EV stocks are generally very volatile and not suitable for retail investors unless one have very high risk tolerance. Regret not doing enough homework before investing in them. 

E.g. Xpev rose to $74 in 2020, then dipped to $22 in 2022, rose back to $55 and dipped back to $30.

Tesla $800, $500, $1200, $800.

The same applies for other EV too.

My future outlook for EV is that while it may be mainstream in the future, moat is very weak, as there will be more competitors with better technologies entering the market. Profit margin will be low so think twice before investing in EV or Automobile industry.
