I believe palantir is ahead of its time.. its technology is not well understood and its potential is notapparant to those who are not existing users or those who are not exposed to it..
Even for those who have seen it.. some of them find it difficult to accept and understand how it performs so much better than traditional solutions.. so they are not inclined to accept and use it..
Then there is this other group who feel that they can do better than palantir by rolling their own solutions.. which is the real competition for palantir.. not the “indirect competition” mentioned in the article.. but rolling their own solution takes many years and a lot of capex…
I believe they need to hit a critical mass of users and they need to expose their products to the next generation workforce such as universities and college students.. such people will be more open to new ideas and ways of doing things and this will be key to palantir next stage of growth
