Even if the government did share mordena's formula, pfizer and Biotech will still hold a substantial advantage over their covid businesses. the advantage is unlikely to change even with competitors because making covid vaccines is a hard process that take a lot of time.

I think pfizer also have a generic method to cut vaccine production speed by 2 / 3 from its own engineer.
