I may be being very subjective now but I don't see the drop as even mainly about the patent ruling. We can see that Biontech also dropped 5% so a mere bigger drop of 10% for Moderna with this partly anticipated patent verdict is not unreasonable. I see the drop is driven by the uncertainty of the omicron narrative and some level of indiscriminate selling by mutual funds. Note: I am not a financial analysis.
