[FAQ] Should we convert SGD to USD first before buying US stocks?

If you want to trade US Stocks then you may convert into SGD to USD first. Else, the apps will assume that you don’t have the required currency and will generate a loan + daily interest for you, aka financing. 

I personally convert my SGD to USD using a multi-currency bank account before depositing funds into Tiger Trade to avoid leveraging.
