BEIJING, Nov. 27, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- RISE Education Cayman Ltd ("RISE" or the “Company”) (NASDAQ:REDU), a leading junior English Language Training (“ELT”) provider in China, today announced its unaudited financial results for the third quarter and the first nine months ended September 30, 2017.
Financial and Operational Highlights
Total revenues increased by 28.3% year over year to RMB 260.0 million in the third quarter of 2017.
Gross profit increased by 31.5% year over year to RMB 133.2 million in the third quarter of 2017.
Net income decreased by 1.3% year over year to RMB 26.6 million in the third quarter of 2017.
Adjusted net income1 increased by 33.3% year over year to RMB 35.9 million in the third quarter of 2017.
Adjusted EBITDA2 increased by 31.0% year over year to RMB 64.8 million in the third quarter of 2017.
Adjusted EBITDA margin expanded to 24.9% in the third quarter of 2017 from 24.4% in the same period of the prior year.
Total number of learning centers reached 259 as of September 30, 2017, including 58 self-owned and 201 franchised learning centers.
Student enrollment at the self-owned learning centers increased by 38.5% year over year to 38,193 by September 30, 2017.
Student retention rate at the self-owned learning centers improved further to 70%.

毛利于二零一七年第三季录得人民币1.332亿元，较去年同期上升31.5％。
二零一七年第三季经调整后净收入1人民币35.9百万元，较去年同期上升33.3％。
二零一七年第三季经调整EBITDA2为人民币64.8百万元，同比增长31.0％。
经调整EBITDA利润率由二零一七年同期的24.4％扩大至二零一七年第三季的24.9％。
截至2017年9月30日，学习中心的总数达到了259个，其中包括58个自主学习中心和201个特许学习中心。
在2017年9月30日前，自主学习中心的学生入学人数为38,193人，同比增长38.5％。
