I would take anything said by so-called "celebrities" with a huge handful of salt. They could easily just be manipulating the price for their own personal gain. After all crypto markets are completely unregulated and there are no penalties for such actions which would be frowned upon in other asset classes.

For those who do decide to buy in, do your own homework and don't invest your money simply because someone famous has said good things about it.
