China's industrial production prices declined to the slowest in 11 months in October, according to data from the National Bureau of Statistics released Saturday.
The country's production price index fell 2.9% during the month, lower than the 2.8% fall seen in September, and below a 2.5% forecast by analysts polled by Reuters.
Industrial production prices of the mining sector slid by 5.1% while that of consumer goods declined by 1.6%.
Food industrial prices slipped 1.6% while that of clothing and daily needs inched down 0.4% and 0.1% respectively, and dry goods fell 3.1%, the bureau said.
On a monthly basis, industrial producer prices declined slid 0.1%.
