BUZZ-Chinese e-cigarette maker Smoore falls most in two months, authorities call for quitting smoking

** Shares of Smoore International Holdings Ltd , a maker of vaping devices, components and self-branded advanced personal vaporizers, plunged as much as 19.8% to HK$49.50, the worst session since March 23

** China's National Health Commission and World Health Organization in a joint statement call smokers in the mainland to quit smoking while mainland authorities will offer assistance to support smokers from quitting smoking ()

** The "Outline of the "Healthy China 2030" Plan" also set a goal of reducing the smoking population of aged over 15 years old to 20% by 2030

** Shares of EVE Energy Co Ltd , whose products include electronic cigarettes, falls 4.1%, the biggest percentage decline since April 7

** The Hang Seng China enterprises index climbs 0.6%, and the benchmark index rises 0.9%

    Nothing new. Knee jerk reaction. Smokers will continue to smoke. It will be business as usual. New vaping devices that are more healthy will be invented. Winter is coming and more people will smoke. Good opportunity to buy on dip before Smoore stock goes up again.
