Lowe downgraded the stock to neutral from buy, saying in a note to clients on Monday night that it appeared the stock’s hot streak had run its course.\n“Several of the catalysts we laid out in ourApril upgradehave played out, and with the stock approaching our target, we downgrade to Neutral and close the 90-day catalyst watch,” the note said.\nThe catalysts that have already come to pass include a ban on importing certain solar products from China and the company announcing a production expansion in Ohio, according to Citi. Additionally, the potential of some form of green infrastructure program may already be priced in to the stock.\n“We still find it likely that an eventual infrastructure bill (or a follow on bill passed on budget reconciliation that includes green provisions) will include some extension of the solar ITC, but see this as largely anticipated,” the note said.\nThe firm kept its price target for First Solar at $100 per share, which is just 6% above where the stock closed on
