bank should have already begun its tapering process, arguing that it would be better to start a more gradual process earlier than \"have to slam on the brakes\" later.\nAs to the market's reaction to an eventual hawkish move by the Fed, El Erian said long-term investors might see a controlled program of tightening as a good thing.\nHowever, he thinks it will be hard to avoid a negative market reaction to a Fed tightening since so many investors are \"surfing the liquidity
