Comparable U.S. pharmacy and retail sales both saw robust growth and recovery continued in our United Kingdom business as Covid-19 restrictions eased in the quarter,\" said CEO Roz Brewer in a statement.\nFor fiscal 2021, adjusted earnings per share increased 14.6% to $4.91 from $4.28 a year earlier. Fiscal 2021 revenue rose 8.6% to $132.5 billion from $122 billion a year earlier. Analysts were expecting fiscal year earnings of $4.76 per share and revenue of $131.47 billion.\nWalgreens said it surpassed its Covid-19 vaccination goal by providing 13.5 million vaccinations in the quarter and 34.6 million in fiscal 2021.\nAnalysts were impressed with Walgreens' performance.\n\"This was a strong quarter for Walgreens as the company benefited from Covid-19-driven demand.
