Reddit had more than 50 million active users as of January, but 2021’s meme-stock explosion could have spurred further growth.\n“You either die a hero, or live long enough to become a public company that will monetize the sh—t out of us,” one user wrote on the forum, which is famous for its crude language, memes, and inside jokes.
