It saw 10.1M downloads in February (about 0.67x Netflix's global download rate), vs. 16.6M in January, with the help of new content in the form ofWandaVision.Meanwhile thelaunch of general-entertainment brand Star came on Feb. 23in several countries, with more to come later this year (including a Star Plus stand-alone service in Latin America).\nDisney wasn't the only one with a growth story in February, BofA notes: Eight of the 12 media/entertainment companies tracked saw year-over-year growth in downloads, led by AT&T and its HBO Max, MGM and its Epix Now, and Discovery with Discovery Plus, while the biggest year-over-year declines came for Formula One and Manchester United.\nHBO Max has seen some particular recent momentum with the plan torelease Warner Bros. movies day-and-date on HBO Max along with theaters, and its downloads increased 818% to 2.2M in February (vs. HBO Now downloads a year ago).
