Australia fluctuated at the open, while U.S. futures edged up. U.S. stocks extended a weekly slide Friday after a mixed U.S. jobs report fanned volatility. Technology companies underperformed, led by Tesla Inc., Facebook parent Meta Platforms Inc. and Apple Inc. The Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index -- which tracks China-exposed firms listed in the U.S. -- plunged the most since 2008 on delisting concerns.\n\n\nThe yen slipped after it climbed with haven assets Friday. Long Treasury yields plunged Friday, with the 10-year now close to 1.30%. Gold held an advance and oil rose.
