Last week, it was in correction territory.\nSiegel warns challenges associated with higher interest rates and optimism surrounding economic reopenings will continue to weigh on growth trades.\n“I don’t think they’re going to do badly. We’re not going to have a crash like we had 20 years ago at all,” he said. “But I think the outperformers are going to be basically non-tech over the next six to 12 months.”\nIn this environment, Siegel prefers groups positioned to profit as rates rise.\n“The so-called value stocks are going to be sought out for their yield because I think interest rates are still going to be headed much higher here on thelong bond,” he added. “I don’t think we’re done with this rise in these long-term interest rates.”\nSiegel is reiterating his2021 epic “bounce back” forecast.
